    Special requirements

Manufacturers own advice / query on meeting the requisitions (in separate attachment).

Read the following sections and approve them by checking a box.

Any insulation materials that are placed inside the duct fulfil the requirements set for fireproof building materials and requirements in accordance with combustibility Sh1 and fire spread class Pll 1 (B-s1,d0) (RakMK E1).The ducts, duct parts, dampers and fire dampers, as well as the access doors and hatches, can be cleaned in accordance with the Finnish construction regulations or type approval instructions and the SFS-EN 12097 standard. No stickers or any with adhesive affixed labels are attached onto the internal surfaces of productsThe ducts and duct parts endure at least 10 cleaning cycles without their structure being damaged. The highest acceptable amount of fibers in the air passing the duct stays under or equal to 0.01 piece/cm3 during and after cleaning (Cleanliness testing instructions for ventilation products 2000).The dampers, valves and fire shutters do not prevent the cleaning of the ducts. It is possible to readjust them to their original position after cleaning. It is possible to check the position of the dampers without opening the channel. The internal surface of the products does not enhance the accumulation of impurities. The roughness of the duct material is less than 1 mm. The joints of the ducts with diameter 200 mm or less and their connecting pieces do not arise more than 2 mm of the ducts inside surface. The joints of the ducts of diameter 315 mm or more and their connecting pieces do not arise more than 3 mm of the ducts inside surface. The products do not have burrs that could complicate cleaning or damage the cleaning equipment. The products fulfil the airtightness requirements of class C of the SFS 4699 standard. The sealants do not emit any substances into the air flow that may cause poor air quality or pose health risks.Classified products are labelled in a recognizable way and can be easily separated from the not classified products. The marking can endure transportation, storage and handling of the products on construction sites. The inside sufaces of the products are protected from contamination during factory storage and transport by sealing the ends of the ducts or packing the parts in closed containers and protecting the load e.g. by covering. The techniques used for protection (such as plugs) and the storage containers are of a type that can withstand the prevailing conditions during transport and on construction sites, as well as being repeatedly opened and closed. If the ducts are transported inside each other, the cleanness of their external surfaces must correspond to their internal surfaces. Product-specific transportation, storage, installation and maintainance instructions are issued and the instructions cover essential information related to cleanness.

Products fulfil requirements specified in RakMK (fire, silencing)Properties of Sound attenuator are knownNo stickers or any with adhesive affixed labels are attached onto the internal surfaces of productsThe perforated sheetmetal, nozzle material or other materials used in the sound attenuator fulfils the requirements presented in the classification instructions in relation to processes that require oil i.e. oil surface residue equal or under 0.3 g (300mg)/m2 . The test report is attached to the application form.Instructions for use and cleaning of sound attenuator, along with the nominal air flow and any possible restrictions for use, are available with the product as well as separately. The products fulfil the requirements in the part 3.2.1 of the Classification of the indoor environment (2018). The Sound attenuator does not produce odour that reduces the quality of indoor air nor introduces impurities in gaseous or particulate form into the air-stream.Classified products are labelled in a recognizable way and can be easily separated from the not classified products. The products fulfil the type approval requirementsThe filter material does not contain any oils or biocides as dust binding agent. No stickers or any with adhesive affixed labels are attached onto the surfaces of the products. The concentration of fibers in the air passing through the filter is under or equal to 0.01 piece/cm3 (Cleanliness testing instructions for ventilation products 2000).The curve describing the initial and minimum differentiation rate, the application and cleaning instructions of the air filter, and the nominal air flow and any possible restrictions of use are available with the air filters as well as separately. The particle separation rate has been defined and the product can be assigned to one of the categories from F5 to F9 on the basis of the separation rate. The replacement interval of the filter, the cleaning interval of the electric filter, the operation of the automatic cleaning system and the environmentally friendly disposal method of the fibre filter have been defined.Classified products are labelled in a recognizable way and can be easily separated from the not classified products.
